Youth for Arctic Nature is a community science project based in Iceland.
It aims to encourage groups of youth who live in western Atlantic Arctic and Subarctic countries such as Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Finland, Norway, and Greenland, to go out and study local species close to their own home.This app makes it easy to record where, when, and what you saw in local nature.
It can be used to record the timing of the arrival of different flowers, the whales in a fjord over the years, the migration of birds, the number of seals in a colony, the bees in a garden, and much more.All data will be public and visible from the app.
It will be useful for scientists studying climate change all over the world.
